Loriene Marie Kelley

Loriene Marie Kelley, 89, of Cabot, passed away June 15, 2019. She was born November 13, 1929, to the late John Lee and Thelma Elizabeth Morden. Marie retired from the National Bank of Commerce in Pine Bluff, where she was a bank teller. She volunteered as a Brownie leader and a Boy Scout den mother, and she was a past president of the DuBocage Chapter of ABWA. She was actively involved in church activities all of her life, and in her retirement she enjoyed playing golf, visiting her children, knitting caps for newborn babies, and spending time with her sisters. Marie is survived by her children, Cindi (Jim) Maynard, Mike Kelley, and Carl (Karen) Kelley; her brother, Billy Morden, and two sisters, Mabel Clay and Juanita Austin; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jessie "Bill" Kelley. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019, at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in Cabot. Visitation will be held one hour before the service, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. A private interment will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
