Johnnie Jewel Morrow of McRae, Ark. went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 19, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born September 16, 1930 in Montrose, Ark. to Bill and Virgie Streeter. She had six brothers and three sisters whom she dearly loved. Johnnie married her one true love, Buddy, in September 1951. Their love story is one for the ages. We have been truly blessed to witness their love and devotion to not only their Savior but to each other. She retired from Bancroft in Cabot after working there for 25 years. She loved her job and the people she worked with. She made friends to last a lifetime. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy since 1999. Johnnie loved God and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Those gone before her include her parents, five brothers, three sisters, her love Buddy, and her first great-grandson, Cannon Cotton. Cannon was very special to her and he was greatly missed every day. Our family rejoices in the fact that she been reunited with God and her loved ones who passed before her. We who remain have been left with a hole in our hearts but also joyful knowing she is no longer in pain and is now celebrating in the arms of the Lord. Survivors include two daughters: Brenda (Bruce) Cotton, Karen (Terry) Hogan; four grandchildren: Barry Cotton, Kasey (Joe Mike) Holland, James Hogan, Stephen Cotton: six great-grandchildren: Shea, Savannah, Maggie, Alex, Karlie, and Lexie, one brother: Wesley (Francis) Streeter, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com.
