Tina Marie Stanton Paul

Tina Marie Stanton Paul of Heber Springs passed away Thursday, June 20, in Little Rock following a serious illness at age 52. Tina was born March 28, 1967, in Little Rock and was adored by her loving parents, Doris and Stanley Stanton. Tina loved her true hometown of Heber Springs, where she lived throughout her childhood and attended school. Tina also enjoyed her time at Arkansas State University at Beebe after she completed high school. She attended the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall of Heber Springs. Tina made arts and crafts and enjoyed reading. She spent 10 years working at Wal Mart in Heber Springs. She was known by her friends and family for her thoughtfulness. Tina was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Stanton of Heber Springs and her grandparents Rawleigh and Lee Stanton and Leo and Helen Treadway. Surviving family members include Tina's son Daniel Jeffrey Paul of Sherwood, her mother Doris Stanton, and brother Stanley Scott Stanton of Heber Springs. She is also survived by her loving aunt, Cynthia Stringfellow, and cousins Jami Justus, Liberti Griffith, and Kimberly Dohm, as well as a host of friends and family. Tina was a light that shined for everyone throughout her life. She will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 23 at Olmstead Funeral Home, 601 W. Main St. in Heber Springs. Visitation starts at 2 p.m. with a chapel service immediately following at 3 p.m. There will be a dinner provided at Angie's Buffet in Heber Springs. The family requests donations to breast cancer awareness in lieu of flowers.
