Ruthie Bates, 81, of Crossett died February 25. Survived bycson, Eddie Wafer; and four granchildren, Kimberly Rogers, Giovanni Westmoreland, Eddie and Janijha Wafer. Service Saturday, 11 a.m., at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial in Good Hope Cemetery in Camden. Visitation Friday, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg.
