Sandra Cranford Rutledge

Sandra Cranford Rutledge, 76, of Sherwood, Arkansas was born March 24, 1942 in McRae, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by parents Bernice and Mildred Cranford of McRae, Arkansas. She is survived by husband of 52 years, Royce, of Sherwood; daughters Suzanne Smith of Fort Smith, and Shelley Allison (Randy), of Laverne, California; grandsons Shane and Wesley Smith, and Alexander Allison. She graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, in 1964, with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher for several years, and then later worked as a cotton classer for the USDA. Sandra was very involved in Bible Study Fellowship as a children's leader for many years and also enjoyed being a part of the bell choir at Lakewood UMC. However, her favorite job and activity was being a granny for the past 20+ years. The family wishes to thank Kindred Care Hospice and Lakewood Health and Rehab for all their care these past few months.
