Martha Joyce Darlene Disney

Martha Joyce Darlene Disney, 79, of Springdale, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019. She was born September 12, 1939, in Bentonville to Joshua and Louise (Threat) Simpson. Martha was a mother, servant, and teacher to all she met. She was a wonderful example of a wife and mother and truly loved people. Martha established and organized for many years the children's church at Mission Boulevard Baptist Church where she a member for many years. Above all, Martha had a deep love for her Savior, and "her children rise up and call her blessed." She is survived by her husband, Dr. William Brian Disney; six children, Marietta Clardy and husband Jeff, Aleta Lawson and husband George, Michelle Jones and husband Brad, Michael Disney and wife Natalie, Rene Enochs and husband Troy, and Lianna Bush and husband Dan; one sister, Doris Murphy and husband John; one brother, Jimmy Simpson; 30 grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Cecillia, Joshua, William, Timothy, David, Kristen, Benjamin, Ariel, Kyle, Christopher, Spencer, Ashley, Blake, Kenny, Grace, Taylor, Morgan, Lilly, Aiyana, Bryce, Dante, Kadin, Micayla, Patricia, Danny, Cody, Marcus, and Jenna; and 12 great-grandchildren, Rayley, Andrew, Chase, Avaley, Alexandra, Zachary, Ellysia, Esabelle, Savannah, Bentley, Brooklyn, and Peyton. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Greg Jones. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Mission Boulevard Baptist Church with interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
