Geneva M. Lash

Geneva Monteen Venable (Stark) Lash of the Morning Star Community in Bentonville passed away on March 10, 2019. She was born on January 12, 1931 in Moreland, Arkansas to the late Ed Venable and Vestle Roach. Geneva will be remembered as a strong woman who was proud of her family. Her abiding faith in her Lord helped her navigate life's highs and lows. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cave Springs. Her survivors include her children, Iris (Stark) Wilson, Rodney Stark; grandchildren, Monica, Danny, and John Dees; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl and Marvin Venable; and sister, Anita Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents; oldest son, Melvin Stark; first husband Joe Stark; and last husband, Bill Lash. Visitation will from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.
