Minnie Lea Moore Caldwell, age 87, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born March 10, 1932 in Casa, Arkansas, a daughter of James Robert Moore and Ethel Mae Butler Moore. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Perryville, and the retired director of the Perry County Day Service Center. She is survived by her children: Refus Caldwell, Jr. and wife Chereyl of Guy, Marty Caldwell of Benton, Lynette Caldwell Rose and husband Max of Walnut Ridge, Martha Caldwell McClure and husband John of Hardy; grandchildren: Lori and Daniel Case of Glen Burnie, Maryland, James and Stephanie Caldwell of Greenbrier, Christy and Jeff Palmer of Benton, Leslie and Joe Hester of Benton, Matthew and Stephanie Rose of Walnut Ridge, Michael and Jessica Rose of Little Rock, Maegan and Joseph Hollaway of Hardy, Ian and Sabrina McClure of Hardy; great grandchildren: Elijah, Samson, and Sarah Case, Cameron and Jared Palmer, Hannah Kuhlman, and Andie Hester, Maddox and McKenzie Rose, Gracie and Max Rose; two brothers: Darrell Moore and Carroll Moore; and two sisters: Mattie Ruth Reynolds and Anna Faye Strope. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Refus T. Caldwell, Sr.; daughter: Minnie Louise Caldwell; one brother: Gerald Moore; and four sisters: Mary Alice Harris, Verna Mae Caldwell, Perlie Singleton, and Betty Sue West. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Harris Chapel with Bro. Dusty Day and Bro. Jason Campbell officiating. Burial will be at McGhee Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Harris Community Room at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
