Charline Lyon Daniel

Charline Lyon Daniel, age 92, of Warren, Ark., died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Chapel Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born June 5, 1926, in Warren, Ark., a daughter of the late Carter Lyon and Geneva Neely Lyon. Charline worked at First State Bank, Merchants and Planters Bank for 34 years and retired in 1991, as Vice President of Bookkeeping. She was a great cook, loved to work in the yard, and her passion was writing letters and cards and sending them to relatives and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Warren for 71 years. Her husband, Bill Daniel, preceded her in death on April 18, 1993. They were united in marriage July 17, 1947. Survivors are two daughters, Lucretia Greenwood (Richard) of Warren, Ark., and Charlotte Daniel of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Derwood Lyon of Warren, Ark.; two grandchildren, Scott Greenwood (Dana) of Cabot, Ark., and Shelley Greenwood Hunt (Doug) of Dalton, Ga.; six great-grandchildren, William Greenwood of Warren, Ark., Riley Greenwood of New Edinburg, Ark., Amanda Greenwood of Cabot, Ark., Emily Hunt, James Hunt, and Andy Hunt all of Dalton, Ga. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Frazer's.
