Helen Marie Rankin Leach Cahill

Helen Marie Rankin Leach Cahill, 92, passed away April 28, 2019, at home in Winslow, Ark. She was born November 19, 1926, to Henry Ward and Beatrice Maude Rankin in St. Louis County, Mo. Marie was preceded in death by husbands Leroy Toy Leach and Roger Cahill; son Donald Leach; and brother Henry Allen Rankin. Marie was retired from the V.H. Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winslow and the Winslow Home Extension Club. Marie is survived by a daughter Karen Marie Smith (Jim) of Bella Vista and sisters Betty McGuire (Jim) of Springdale and Billie Sue Hughes (Ray) of Winslow. She is also survived by grandchildren Diana Glander of Prairie Grove, Ark.; Aaron Smith (Amy) of Kansas City, Mo.; Mark Leach (Cathy), Dean Leach, and Jack Leach all of Winslow. Surviving great-grandchildren are Alexandra Blake (Chris), Bailey Smith, Payton Lucky Smith, Zane Smith, Chance Glander (Alex), Chase Glander, Chloe Glander, Amber Leach, Dakota Leach, Dillon Leach, and Michael Leach (Audra). Surviving great-great-grandchildren are Hudson James Blake, Jaiden Leach, and Lainey Leach. Marie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and by special friends John Kaiser and Kay Redfern.
