Dorothy Williams walked through heaven's gate on Thursday, May 2, 2019. She was born on January 22, 1928 in Concordia, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Ballard Somfleth and William Somfleth; her twin sister, Dora Jean Somfleth; husbands, Daniel Elliott; George P. Williams and Eugene Taylor; son William Elliott; granddaughter Jennifer Elliott and grandson Michael Elliott. Beloved Mother, Grandma, great-grandma and friend. A resident of Woodlawn, Dorothy was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the English Brides Club. She was a poet who often wrote the weekly update for the Cabot Star Herald. She was known for her Blue-Ribbon booth entries at the annual Lonoke County Fair. She loved her cats, and anything that happened to show up on her door. She is survived by sons, Max Elliott (Prescilla) of Jacksonville, Ark.; David Elliott (Laura) of Washington, DC and George Scott Williams (Kristina) of Fredericksburg, Va.; daughter-in-law Charle Elliott; grandchildren: Darren Elliott; Aston Williams; Teagan Williams; Rylan Williams; Carsten Williams and Samantha Krench. Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 301 S. Pine St., Cabot, Ark. 72023 in Memory of Dorothy Williams. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
