Frances L. Sims

Frances L. Sims, age 81 and a resident of Bentonville, Ark. For many years was called home to her heavenly home May 4 ,2019. She was born December 20, 1937 to Dewey and Emily Vandiver in Bentonville, Ark. Frances began working for Southwestern Bell in 1954 and retired in 1994 after 30 years of experience. She also worked for Allied Telephone in Harrison, Ark. for many years. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She us preceded in death by both parents, four brothers, Clyde Vandiver, Bill Vandiver, Vernon Vandiver, and Charles Vandiver, and two sisters, Katherine Tucker and Emily Morgan. She is survived by three sons, Jack Breeland of Bentonville, Ark., Ronnie Breland of Lowell, Ark., and Artie Vick and wife Shelley of Minnesota. Two daughters, Anita Townsend and husband Buddy of Hiwasse, Ark. and Debbie Ratliff and husband Jeff Ratliff of Little Flock, Ark.; one brother, James D. Vandiver Jr. of Broken Arrow, Okla. and one sister, Marie Crawford and husband Jim of Gentry, Ark. and sister-in-law, Janis Vandiver of Bentonville, Ark., 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was loved by so many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday May 9, 5-7 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home 306 N. 4th St. Rogers, Ark. Services will be Friday May 10, at 1 p.m. at Harbor of Praise Church with Rev. Jo Jones officiating. Final resting place will be Elm Springs Cemetery.
