Kenneth Reece Reaves

Kenneth "Reece" Reaves, age 71, of Warren, Ark., died Monday, May 6, at J.R.M.C. He was born April 8, 1948 in Warren, Ark., a son of the late Virgil L. Reaves and Willie Kemp Reaves. "Reece" was a retired machinist for Potlatch Corporation with 40 plus years of service and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from Warren High School in 1966, as the valedictorian of his class. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Tommie Fred Reaves, Ralph Donald Reaves, James Virgil Reaves and Robert Dale Reaves. Sisters, Jeanette Burt, Janice Pike, Betty Harrison, Martha Ruth Reaves, Mary Ann Gotham and Dorothy Nell Reaves. Survivors are one son, Zane Reaves and spouse Bonnie of Searcy, Ark. One daughter, Kaysi Reaves of Searcy, Ark. A sister, Shirl Bunch, Benton, Ark. Sisters-in-law, Barbara Reaves, Hardy, Ark., Wanda Reaves, Wilmar, Ark. and Lou Reaves, Wilmar, Ark. Brother-in-law, David Gotham, Michigan. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial is in Wilmar Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
