Martha Lou Evans Shock, 84, of Cabot, passed away May 10, 2019 at her home. She was born February 22, 1935 in Austin to the late Clarence and Dorothy Martin Evans. Martha retired from Franklin Electric after many years of service. She was an avid Razorback fan that included all sports. She wove plastic mats to be given to homeless, enjoyed crafts and supported her husband, Gerald, in his businesses. She made the best chocolate pie. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Bud" Shock; siblings, Beatrice Shaw, H.T. Evans and Butch Evans; great-grandson, Casey Dennis Perkins and daughter-in-law, Dr. Melessa Shock. Survivors include her children, Curtis Shock and Cathy (Gene) Semon; grandchildren, Dennis Perkins, Scott (Misty) Perkins, Tyler Shock and Corey Shock – some of whom referred to her as "Bom-Bom"; great grandchildren, Caleb and Alyssa Perkins. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at Austin Station Baptist Church with Brother Win Callison officiating. There will be a private family burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The family suggests memorial donations be made in Martha's name to Austin Station Baptist Church.
