Isaac F. Caudle, age 94, of West Fork died Wednesday, May 15, 2019. He was born January 19, 1925 in Winslow, Arkansas, the son of Samuel Isaac and Allie Goff Caudle. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 70 years, Wildene Phillips Caudle; a grandson Robert Mitchell; three brothers John A., Hugh E. and Fred B. Caudle and a sister Winsome Christenson. He was owner of Phillips Hardware in West Fork. He was a United States Army veteran and P.O.W. of World War II, received a Purple Heart. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the V.F.W., the American Legion and West Fork Community Church. He was a volunteer with the West Fork Fire Department. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Mitchell; a son, Dan Caudle and his wife Hazel; three grandsons, Willie Mitchell and his wife Shelley, Joe Mitchell, and Ken Caudle and his wife Meredith; a granddaughter, Janet Caudle; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald and Larry Caudle and six sisters, Vivian Winn, Anna Weddington, Christine Brown, Harriet Mosteller, Sue Hammons and her husband Preston and Donna Good. Visitation will be held 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday May 19, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Military Honors.
