Chester Douglas Fisher Jr

Chester Douglas Fisher Jr., 84, of Clinton passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. Born May 17, 1935 in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late Charles Fisher Sr. and Laura Mae Helm, Charles was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard. He served during the Little Rock Central High School Crisis. Charles was also a member of the Van Buren County Fair Board, Ozark Health Hospital Volunteer Program and was a lifelong Methodist. Surviving him are his wife, Linda Emerson Fisher; children, Doug Fisher, Danny Fisher, Mark Fisher, Nancy Garrido; stepchildren, Charley Higgins and Marshall Jenkins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Thomas Fisher. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. www.clintonfuneralservice.com.
