James Lynn Carlisle

James Lynn Carlisle, 79, of Hickory Plains, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 31, 2019. He was a retired truck driver and was known by his friends and co-workers as "Catfish". He is survived by his wife, Faye Carlisle; one son, Keith Carlisle and wife Tisa; daughter, Lea Ann Evans and husband Terry; daughter-in-law, Leann Carlisle; stepdaughters, Carla Long, and Cindy Seevers and husband Keith; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Morris Carlisle; two sisters, Margie Speight and Camilla Ferguson. James was preceded in death by his parents, H. B. and Elva Carlisle; two brothers, Wilford and Troy; his first wife Betty; and son Calvin Carlisle. Memorials may be made to Hickory Plains Cemetery, c/o Miles Patton, 8041 Patton Lane, Des Arc, Ark. 72040. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
