Ruth Satterlee

Ruth Satterlee, 99, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 19, 2019. She was born October 2, 1920, in Monona, Iowa, to Roy and Hazel Rowland. Ruth was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. She was married to Dal Satterlee, who preceded her in death, as well as her parents; brothers, Reed and Robert Rowland; and niece, Cindy Rowland. Survivors include the following nieces and nephews and their families: Gary Rowland (Debbie) of Spanaway, Washington, Steve Rowland (Diane) of Guttenberg, Iowa, Doug Rowland (Cindy) of Ely, Iowa, Jane Radloff (Dale) of Monona, Iowa, Melissa Oleson (Art), and Tom Rowland. Also surviving her are her step-grandchildren and their families: Georgia Waid (Bill) of Davis, California, Chris Gonterman (Vickie), and Anne Gonterman of North Little Rock; and special friends, Carol Strange, Kathy and James Boyd of Hot Springs, Kathy Robnett of Waco, Texas, Kathy Kotzenberger of Omaha, Nebraska, Cindy Quinlan and Donna Henry of Tampa, Florida, Kathy Jeffers of Elysian Fields, Texas, and Ken Kraft of Beaufort, South Carolina, Jim Drake of Venice, Florida. A memorial celebration of Ruth's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 8, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Wilson and Rev. David Moseley officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
