T.J. Taylor

T.J. Taylor was born John Garcia in Southern Texas, March 28, 1972. As his birth mother was unable to care for him he spent most of the next seven years in and out of foster care. At age seven he was adopted in Arizona by Pam and Richard Haefer, and was given the name Titus John. He spent the next eight years with his new family living in Arizona traveling around the U.S. and Mexico. At age 15 he moved to Arkansas to attend Subiaco Catholic Academy. He attended Subiaco Academy in Subiaco, Ark. from 1988 to 1991. He spent holidays and summers with Sonny and Trish Taylor and Sean and Jason, and became part of their family. After high school, he worked for his foster family at Sonny's Auto Salvage, then moved to Florida where he made his home and worked in the construction business remodeling and repairing homes. He is predeceased by his mother, Pam Haefer, and his foster dad, Sonny Taylor. He is survived by his three children, son, Jeremy Allen of Sulpher, La., and daughters, Kayla Walker of Sherwood, Ark., and Hannah Aguilar of Prince Frederick, Md., his father, Richard Haefer, foster mom Trish Taylor, special friend Christine Wesley and a host of family and friends. A memorial service and Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5th, 2-4 p.m. at That.Church, 901 E. Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, Ark. 72120.
