Boyce Coe McQuay, 83 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on November 4, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. Boyce was born December 23, 1935 in Grubbs, Arkansas, to Parvin and Lillian Webb McQuay, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Wellston High School in St. Louis, Missouri, earned a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction and Engineering from John Brown University, and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. At JBU he met his wife of 62 years, Alice Dean Moore. They married on September 7, 1957 in Lincoln, Arkansas. Prior to operating his own design/build business, Boyce worked at John Brown University in the coordinated planning, designing, and overseeing construction of campus buildings. Following his tenure with JBU, Boyce designed and constructed many building in Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma, and in the Bahamas. He is survived by his wife, Alice; brother, Carl McQuay of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Debi Oates and husband Dan of Susanville, California, and Thelma Gabriel of Ontario, California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
