Carolyn Hazel James

Carolyn Hazel James, age 77, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. She was born May 31, 1942 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Carolyn was retired and of the Church of Christ Faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Amanda Tillman and a daughter, Freda Rowland. She is survived by her husband, Larry James of Benton; son, Bud Rowland of Avilla; two daughters, Becky Edwards (Kevin) of Benton and Teresa Crouse (John) of Haskell; step-daughter, Mary Hale (Austin) of Colorado; two sisters, Loretta Brotherton (John) of Amity and Kathy Taylor of Haskell; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 8 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 9 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
