BOBBIE QUILLEN, "MA" 75 of Little Rock, Ark., was called home on Friday November, 8, 2019. Bobbie was born in Benton, Ark., on October, 13, 1944. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her infectious laugh and humble heart. She found joy in the little things in life like cooking her famous chicken and dumplings for her only grandson, dancing in the kitchen while her son played the guitar, or sitting in her rocking chair watching scary movies with her dog, Isabella. Her favorite thing of all was taking care of her family. She made her house a home to everyone who entered and wouldn't let them leave without making sure they were fed; there was no one she wouldn't try to feed. The matriarch of her family, Bobbie lived her life to the fullest fulfilling her greatest wish; being a mother. She raised her five grandchildren along with her own children and it wasn't limited to her family. She was a caretaker to many friends and family for many years, always making sure they had everything they could ever need. Bobbie was truly one of a kind. In the evenings you could find her sitting on her back porch, cigarette in hand watching the sun set behind the trees, she loved nature and found therapy gardening with her hands in the soil. She kept her loved ones laughing, always referring to herself as "crazy like a fox" which never ceased to make her granddaughter, Abigail smile. A mother to many, one of the best shoulders to cry on, her ears always open to listen, a home maker to her core Bobbie will be truly missed. Toward the end of her vivacious life she found peace in knowing that she would be reunited with those she missed most, her son in law, Michael, her sister Betty, her Pete and Papa Mike and many others she longed to be with again. She is survived by her husband of fifty four years, Robert Quillen, three children, Tarzah Shaw, Brad Quillen and Danielle Holthoff and five beautiful grandchildren Micha Polston, Madison Lowe, Jacob Lowe, Abby and Khaki Holthoff. Her memory will be honored on Wednesday, November, 13, 2019 at 2 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Healy & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th Street in Little Rock 72204. www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
