Jewel Marceda Jackson

Jewel Marceda Jackson, 88, left this life November 8. 2019. She was born September 26, 1931 in Savanna, Oklahoma to Douglas and Gladys Doyal Ferguson. Marceda was always a warrior for the kingdom of God. In her early years she traveled the United States ministering the word of God with passion and grace. When she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Jackson, their journey began as they pastored churches from California to Arkansas, ministering the gospel and seeing God change lives. Marceda is now in the presence of God, along with her late husband, Robert " Bob" Jackson; her parents, Douglas and Gladys Ferguson and siblings, James, Doris, Ruby and Doyal. She leaves behind her siblings, Jean, Doug, Dale and Dora, along with nieces, nephews and great-niece, Shannon Goff, who was such a blessing to Marceda in countless ways. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2019 at New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers. She will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville at 1 p.m. Donations may be made in Marceda's memory to New Hope Assembly of God, 2626 New Hope Road, Rogers, Arkansas 72758.
