Nathan Fultz (age 50) of Bentonville, Ark. passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of November 9, 2019. Nathan was a larger-than-life man with an unforgettable infectious laugh and a gift for generosity. He is forever helping his friends and family and has a true talent for friendship. He is unparalleled at joking and teasing, but equally able to listen, encourage and just show up for those in need. Nathan was born in San Jose, Calif. on July 7, 1969 to the late Carson Fultz and Rachel Fultz (Moss). The youngest of five children, Nathan grew up in the Central Valley of California with his older sisters and brothers, Julie, Shelly, Dennis and Kenneth. He graduated in 1987 from Downey High in Modesto, Calif. He worked various jobs before owning his own painting business with Dennis and Carson. In 1996 Nathan moved to Northwest Ark. He received his Associates Degree in 1998 from Northwest Technical Institute as valedictorian and became a network administrator. In June of 2000 Nathan took a six-week leave of absence to go on an archaeological dig in Israel. That's where he met Alicia (Pujat) of New Jersey. They became engaged that October and married March 18, 2011. Nathan left the computing field and worked as an analyst and a sales manager – at the same time building the couples' various homes. In 2009 they added a daughter Jocelyn to their family, followed by Jessica in 2011, Jayne in 2014 and Carson in 2017. He was a fun-loving, affectionate dad who loved to spend time laughing with his kids, camping and making bonfires, watching movies and taking them "to town" for candy and toys. Most of all, Nathan was passionately devoted to God, letting his desire to please Him drive every aspect of his life. He was an ordained deacon in the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, with a reputation for service. Nathan is survived by his wife Alicia, his mother Rachel, his four children, his four siblings and their families and hundreds of heart-broken friends. He was recently preceded in death by his beloved father Carson Fultz. Visitation is 6-7:30 p.m. on November 14 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street in Rogers. Small graveside service at Gobbler Cemetery on November 15. All are invited to Memorial Service at Hope Church, 1700 Moberly Lane, January 16, 5 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
