Doris "Dot" Robinson English of Little Rock, Arkansas, left her illness and suffering behind to go home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Dot was born in Little Rock on July 6, 1936, to Herbert L. and Audrey Chapman Robinson. She graduated Little Rock Central High School where she met and began dating Billy English. After graduating high school, Dot began working at Hill, Crawford, and Lanford as Mr. Lanford's administrative assistant. She left there to begin her family. While being a wonderful wife and mother, Dot later worked as bookkeeper for Burks Electric Co. and Aldersgate Camp. She eventually took a position as the Director's Executive Assistant at Easter Seal of Arkansas. While there, she also served as the Secretary to the Easter Seal Board. Dot retired in 1992 and began the most fun job she ever had as Mamaw to her three grandchildren. Throughout her life Dot enjoyed painting in oils and researching the family genealogy before ancestry.com existed. She also loved to spend time with the family at the lake water skiing, swimming, and boating. Dot is survived by her husband of 64 years, Billy; daughter, Brenda Puloma (Rick) and son Ted and wife Jane along with grandchildren, Ricky Puloma, Sam Puloma and Elaine English. She is also survived by her brother, Lt. Col. (retired) Wilbur L. Robinson; sister, Jean Busch (Dicky) and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Hazel Hamilton. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019, at Faith United Methodist Church, 9820 W.
