Elva Mae Henry

Elva Mae Henry, 84, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born September 30, 1935 in Morrilton, Ark. the only child of the late Curtis and Montine McKim Thomas. Elva was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Henry. Elva is survived by numerous cousins and friends. Elva was a long-time member of Baring Cross Baptist Church of Sherwood and a graduate of Morrilton High School and attended Petit Jean Vo-Tech. She retired from the Arkansas State Health Department. Elva loved to travel and enjoyed going to watch her husband play music. When she was able, she loved making turbans for cancer patients with her Sunday School class. Elva's favorite hobby was shopping. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 17 at Martinville Cemetery, with her cousin, Bro. Bob Robinson officiating. Serving as pallbearers are her cousins, Craig Wood, Larry Holland, Marty Powell, Kevin Holland, Travis Holland, Colton Holland, Ken Holland, and Joe Smith.
