Sherry Thelma Bounds

Sherry Thelma Bounds, 77, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019 at The Village at Valley Ranch in Little Rock, Arkansas. She succumbed to the final stages of dementia. She was born on August 20, 1942 in Witt Springs, Arkansas to parents Leslie Noble Sarratt & Ida (Crumley) Sarratt. As a young woman, she moved to California with her older sister where she lived for years before returning to Arkansas to be closer to family. Later in life she lived in Springdale, Arkansas for about 30 years until her children moved her to Little Rock to help care for her. She was a good cook, liked crossword puzzles, and loved yard sales. Sherry is survived by her children: John Short of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Charlotte Greer and husband Todd of Boulder, Colo.; Harvey Morrison Jr. and wife Mary of Little Rock, Ark.; Tommy Morrison and wife Renee of Conway, Ark.; and George Robert of Talladega, Ala.; by her grandchildren: Bryce Courtney and Bryton Robert of Springdale, Ark.; Beth Morrison of Bloomington, Ind.; Brittney Suitt and Madelyn Morrison of Conway, Ark.; Ella Greer, Lillian Greer, Haley Morrison, and William Morrison all of Little Rock, Ark.; and by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Bernell Amick; her brothers, Vernon Sarratt and Denver Sarratt; and her last husband, Harvey Earl Bounds.
