Joe C. Kindrick

Joe C. Kindrick, age 80, of Morrilton, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was born May 7, 1939 at Blackwell (Conway County), the son of Earl and Electa Hill Kindrick. Joe graduated from Atkins High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. After graduation he worked for the USDA, ASCS now Farm Service Agency until 1969 at which time he went to work for Farm Bureau Insurance in Texarkana. In 1970, he moved to Morrilton as Agency Manager for Farm Bureau Insurance where he remained until his retirement in 2002. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was active in several community and civic activities. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Meaders Kindrick; two brothers, William Earl (Bill) Kindrick and Jack Kindrick. He is survived by his first wife, Newana Warren; two sons, Scott Kindrick of Minneapolis and Greg Kindrick of Morrilton. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Calvary Baptist Church, 101 East Clifton Morrilton, Ark., with Bro. Johnny Hoffman officiating. Burial will be at Atkins City Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, at the church.
