Hayden Knox

Hayden Knox slipped away peacefully Saturday, November 23, 2019 at home with his family around him. Hayden was 85 years old and he and his wife Diane had just recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. Hayden was born outside of Fort Smith, Ark., on August 10, 1934 to Hayden W. and Rachael Knox. As a young man he served in the Navy as a Seabee. During the following years he became a leader in the HVAC industry moving to several states before spending thirty in California and then rounding out his career in Little Rock, Ark. Hayden loved coaching his boys in Pop Warner football for 19 years and spending time with his hobby of woodworking, Hayden was also a great storyteller. He was a man that believed and trusted in the Lord and was devoted to his family, a family that will miss him always. Hayden was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Knox, and sister, Geneva Stone. Hayden is survived by his loving wife, Diane, and his four sons, Hayden Daniel (Anita) of Oceanside, Calif.; Travis Timothy of Little Rock, Ark.; Adam (Margie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Morgan Christian of Oceanside, Calif. Also survived by seven grandchildren; Brandi, Perris, Hayden Thomas, Spenser, Jaxon, Kortland, and John Hayden. A private funeral service will take place at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
