Cindy (Hughes) Keeling, age 63, walked through the Gates of Splendor on September 30, 2019. She was born to Charles Ray Hughes and Thelma Muriel Hughes on December 7th, 1955 in Fayetteville, Ark. She grew up in Rogers, Arkansas and was a graduate of Rogers High School, Class of 1974. She is survived by her mother Thelma, her high-school sweetheart turned husband of 45 years, Luther Keeling, Jr., and their four children, Cliff Keeling, Mandy Keeling, Lindsey Keeling, and Carrie Keeling, all residents of Rogers, Ark. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hughes and her brother Danny Hughes. Other surviving family members include her three sisters and their husbands, Charlene (Hughes) & John Hagan of Rogers, Ark., Susie (Hughes) & John Caldwell of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Lynnette (Hughes) & Pat Harris of Rogers, Ark. She also has three surviving sisters-in-law with their husbands, Patsy (Keeling) & Dean Townzen of Rogers, Ark., Donna (Keeling) & J.E. Hughes of Caldwell, Ark., and Kay (Keeling) & Jerry Ray of Lowell, Ark. Her extended family includes 20 nieces and nephews as well as 1 deceased nephew, 43 great-nieces and nephews, and 25 great-great nieces and nephews as well as 1 deceased great-great-nephew. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially helping her little nieces and nephews with various arts, crafts, and games. Some of her other favorite things included traveling, photography, reading, and hosting family and friends for the holidays. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at First Baptist Rogers, Olive Street. A celebration of Cindy's life will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Rogers, Olive Street. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers.
