James Leon "Jim" Elderton, 68 of Bentonville passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home. He was born May 10, 1951 in Springdale, Arkansas to John and Tawana Fultz Elderton.
Jim worked in retail for many years including Wal-mart and was an avid Razorback and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a trainer on the football team under Lou holtz. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was loving and caring father and friend to many. He loved kids and animals.
Survivors include one son, Chris Elderton of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
No visitation is planned.
