Robert "Bob" James Laney

Robert "Bob" James Laney, 75, of Sherwood, passed away October 3, 2019. He was born November 14, 1943 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Everett and Lorene Tuttle Laney. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Tull, Diana Sue Stephens and his half-brother, Tommy Laney. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jane Laney; daughters, Julie Gentry and Traci (Jon) Lee; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, John Ellen Armstrong and Becky Laney. Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot with Brother Terry Fortner officiating. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816.
