Justin Fletcher Sharbrough

The world has lost a spirited adventurer, Fletcher Sharbrough, who died unexpectedly September 29, 2019 at the age of 34. He was the son of "Lemon" Lemoine Sharbrough and Samuel Childress Sharbrough. Fletcher leaves behind his wife Emily Jorgensen Sharbrough and his young son, Samuel Shoal Sharbrough. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Samuel Childress Sharbrough Jr. Fletcher was active with the Buffalo National River Search and Rescue Team. He worked for Lost Valley Canoe and Lodging as a "Boat Ape". He was involved in building ziplines, canopy tours, roller coasters, etc. He had also been a Wildland Firefighter. Fletcher was an avid outdoorsman and a true steward of nature, especially the waterways. He was a devoted father that loved instilling his sense of adventure in his son, Shoal. There will be a celebration of life service 2 p.m., Sunday October 27, 2019 at Lost Valley Canoe and Lodging in Ponca, Ark. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to: Northwest Youth Corps, 2621 Augusta St, Eugene, Ore. 97403 or Lost Valley Canoe and Lodging for the continued maintenance of the historic Ponca Church, AR-43, Ponca, Ark. 72670.
