William Jerry Richardson

William "Jerry" Richardson, age 82, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019. Jerry was born on February 19, 1937, in Amity, the son of John Riley Richardson and Evelyn Wheeler Richardson. Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty Richardson of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Tabitha Richardson of Rogersville, Missouri and Perry and Geneva Richardson of Springdale; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Tony Essner of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Altie Williams of Amity. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery in Amity. Memorials may be made in his honor to Southern Christian Children's Home, P.O. Box 649, Morrilton, Arkansas 72110-0649.
