Joshua Kent Johnson

Joshua Kent Johnson, age 30, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home. He was born December 22, 1988 to Ronald Kent Johnson and Terri Lynn Caldwell Johnson. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a pipefitter. Josh loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Tony Pike; grandparents, Georgia Lee Kesterson and Billy Jean Johnson; and a great-grandmother, Louise Crow. Survivors include his three children, Jacks and Max Johnson of Monticello and Kolbie Johnson of Warren; his father and mother, Ronald Kent and Terri Lynn Caldwell Johnson of Monticello; one brother, Hunter Lee Johnson and fiance' Avery Rial of McGehee; one sister, Kayla Brooke Griffin and husband Tyler of Monticello; and grandparents, Verlin Max Johnson of Fordyce and Rose Winkler and husband Jessie of Quitman. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lone Sassafras Cemetery.
