Kathy Groce Branch

Miss Kathy Branch, 73, of Wynne, Arkansas, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at her home. Kathy was born on November 8, 1945, to the late R. C. and Rubye Groce Branch. She was a graduate of Wynne High School and graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a BSE. Miss Branch was a math teacher at Wynne High School from 1967 until 2001. She was a 40 plus year member of Wynne Baptist Church. Kathy served on various church committees with a particular love for her role as Director of Preschool Sunday school. She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Ellis of Wynne, Judy Ahart and husband Frankie of Wynne, brother, Ricky Branch and wife Ann of Wynne, nieces, Melissa Staggs and husband Lindell of Wynne, Jennifer Ahart of Conway, Arkansas, Julie Ahart of Springdale, Arkansas, nephews, Michael Ellis and wife Janelle of Eustis, Florida, Richard Branch and wife Beth of Smithville, Missouri, and Robert Branch and wife Ashley of Cabot, Arkansas. She is also survived by great nieces, Alexa Jenkins and husband Hunter, Bailey Schmidt and husband Kevin, great-nephews, Thomas Ellis, Nathan Ellis, Eli Ellis, Reid Branch, Ryan Branch, David Branch and Roan Branch. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Kernodle Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Wynne Baptist Preschool Ministries, P.O.
