Claude Cooney

Claude "Hamp" Cooney, 70, of Lonoke departed this life October 18. Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Cooney, father Claudie Cooney, son, Silas Cooney, brother, Bennie Cooney and sister, Lisa Dodson. He leaves to cherish his memory, Mother Mae Cooney, daughters, Theresa Covin, Latoya Burley, Keysha Cooney, Yvette Houston, and son, Craig Whitehead. Brothers Michael Cooney, Charles Cooney and Clem (Karen) Cooney and sister, Jacquelyn Williams, 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services are: Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday October 25, Visitation: Thursday, 5–7 p.m., both services are at the Historic Revelation Church, 700 Willard D.
