Louise Godfrey, 72, of Ward, passed away August 30, 2019. She was born April 10, 1947 in Bloomburg, Texas to the late James Rollin and Mae Josey Miller. Louise was a member for over forty years at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. She was a homemaker to four beautiful children, loved gardening and cooking for her family. She was a great cook! Louise loved her family and never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Darlene Cox and Patty Sigmyer; brother Joseph Miller and grandson, Chase Herring. Survivors include her husband, Arnold John Godfrey; children, Angela (Martin) Davis, Sharon (Richard) Herring, Lynn Godfrey, Edward Godfrey; six grandchildren, Crystal Davis, Amber Willis, Kory Marino, Eddie Godfrey, Ashley Moody and Anna Reneau; siblings, James (Elisa) Miller, Euna Mae (Tyman) Alexander and Clarice Collom; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Rd, North Little Rock with Pastor Joel Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
