Louella "Lady" Hoffman Fiegel quietly passed away August 31, 2019, at home. Louella was born April 3, 1936, in Gordonville, Mo., to Edward and Zelma Eakins. She was adopted in the early 1940's by Louis and Clara Hoffman of Cape Girardeau, Mo., who raised her as their own, while allowing her to maintain a relationship with her birth family. In 1959, she married the love of her life, Joe Ed Fiegel, Sr. in Little Rock, Ark. He preceded her in death October 2004. Louella was a life-long Methodist who attended Hendrix College and Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA). Her life was one of service to her family and the children of her community. She influenced dozens of young lives through her work with the 4-H club and hundreds of lives as a computer lab instruction for the Vilonia School District. She bettered the Vilonia School District by serving on the Vilonia School Board and as a founding member of the Vilonia Athletic Booster Club. Louella loved her neighborhood and her friends in it. A special thanks is extended by her family to the "Angels" of her community, most notably, Carol Dade whose support knew no limits. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Joe Ed, Jr. and Cyndy Fiegel of Lewisville, Ark.; Deborah and Mike Garner, of Houston, Texas; Eva and Steve Cranford, of Forrest City, Ark.; and Mary and Robbie Phillips of Farmington, N. M.; beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Claude Eakins of Janesville, Wis., Oma Dell Clark of Basarth, Colo., and Scott Grezzel of Little Rock, Ark. She was a special lady who was loved by many and cherished by everyone who knew her including her dog Dapple. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 5, 2019, 1 p.m., at Roller McNutt Funeral Home – Conway. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 6-8 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home –Conway.
