Donald E. Glover, 85, of North Little Rock passed away September 5, 2019. He was born to the late Ross and Maymie Glover on November 11, 1933 in Equality,Illinois. Don, as he was affectionately known, served in the United States Air Force, before joining the civilian workforce as an accountant for Ryder. He was a member of Gardner United Methodist Church. He was a man of few words yet full of wisdom. Don could often be found watching almost any sporting event on television, but nothing topped the St. Louis Cardinals. He cherished his family and loved nothing more than spending time with them. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Glover; four children, Donna Blecher (Bill), David Glover (Sandra), Chris Glover (Kristy), and Linda Holland (Brian); seven grandchildren, Robin (Dicky), Carolyn (Daniel), Megan, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Nathaniel, and Nicholas, and three great grandsons; JK, Zachary, and Josh. Don was preceded in death by his three brothers; Ross Glover Jr., William Glover, and Danny Ray Glover. A Memorial Service will be held at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Monday September 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. Burial at a later date will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
