Gale E Demaree

Bentonville, AR, 1931 - 2019

Colonel Gale E. Demaree, U.S. Army (Ret), passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the House of Three in Rogers, Ark.
Gale attended K-12 in Burwell Public Schools. At the University of Nebraska he received his MS in Pharmacology. During his nearly 30 years in the Army Medical Service Corp, he received an MS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Alabama. He was very active in Barbershop activities to include singing and administration.
He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Helen Thomas Demaree; one niece; nephews; cousins and many friends.
He was laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. A celebration of Gale's life in song will be at 2 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Full military honors will be provided.
