Alan Orbon Johnson, 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died September 14, 2019, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on August 23, 1950, to Venita Swilling Johnson and Enoch Orbon Johnson. Alan served in the Navy and graduated as an EMT/Paramedic from Northwest Arkansas Community College. In 2015, he retired as a captain at Central EMS after 27 years of service. Alan is survived by his wife, Claudia Smith, his daughter, Nell Musser, son-in-law, John W. Musser, and three grandchildren, Austin, Beck, and Georgia. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Johnson Welch, and her husband, Ben L. Welch, his brother, John A. Johnson, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. A celebration of Alan's life will be held at a later date. Alan's family wishes to thank Dr. Juan Lombeida at Highlands Oncology, the medical and support staff at Willard Walker Hospice Home, and his home hospice nurse, Alma, for extraordinary and compassionate care.
