Billie Charles Wofford

Billie Charles Wofford, age 90, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. He was born April 16, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma, a son of the late Charles Wofford and Bernice Poteete Wofford. He was a retired School Administrator, member of Morrilton Board of Education, Morrilton Kiwanis, Conway County Mounted Patrol and was also a member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by sons: Mike (Mary) Wofford, Steve (Stephanie) Wofford; daughters: Sherri Wofford and Patti (John) Wingo, all of Morrilton; grandchildren; Mandy (Roy) Prince, Diane (Todd) McKnight, Charlie (Susie) Wofford, Kim (Joseph) Wright, Melissa Scheidt, Sarah (Josh) Howard, Hannah (Clay) Voss, Jennifer White, Josh Wingo, Erin (Lucas) Hanson, and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Billie Jean Pettingill Wofford and a granddaughter, Madeleine Grace Wingo. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 23, at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Sonny Harvison officiating. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
