Dorothy Elizabeth Ray Hill

Dorothy Elizabeth Ray Hill, 89, of Benton, passed away on September 25, 2019. She was delivered by Dr. Dewell Gann in Benton on October 22, 1929 to her parents, John (Griff) Griffen Ray and Beulah Bell Mooreman Young Ray. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Saline County and was a housewife who enjoyed crafting, reading and using her coupons! She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, Lucian A. Hill of Haskell, sisters, Lillian Ray of Tull, Theo Young Wallace (J.W.) of Benton and brother, Troy Young (Theople) of Dallas, Texas. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Tena Hill Shepard (Mike Arnold) of Bull Shoals, Ark., grandchildren, Steven (Laura) Lynn Shepard of Beebe, Ark., Felicia (Javier) Renee Allen of Flippin, Ark., and Michael Shepard of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
