Linda Evelyn Bishop

Linda Evelyn Bishop, age 70 of Rogers, passed away September 24, 2019 in Bentonville, Ark. Linda was born November 14, 1948 in Lyons, Kansas to parents Ray and Evelyn Shipman. She met Charles Robert Bishop in high school and they were married on December 31, 1978. Linda and Charles were married for over 40 years and she worked as a homemaker and a devoted wife and mom. Linda was a member of the Rogers High School class of 1968. Linda also attended cosmetology school and for years was owner and operator of the Pink Cloud Beauty Shop in Rogers in the 1970's. She loved her grandkids and great grandbabies as well as her pets and raising flowers. Linda was a Razorbacks fan and a good friend to everyone she knew. She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Ray Bright. Linda is survived by her husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Bishop; sons, Chad and Eric Bishop; daughter in law, Crystal; brother, Steven Shipman; sister, Arlene Hobkirk and husband Wes of Centerton; nephew, Alex Shipman; grandchildren, Evelyn, CJ, Autumn, Chase, Dallas; great grandchildren, Mason, Cayden, Aubree, Emma, Bryson, Catherine and Bocephus as well as a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Circle of Life Hospice of Bentonville for their care and kindness and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Arvest Bank to help with her expenses.
