Arabryanna "Abby" Simmons Ellington

Arabryana "Abby" Simmons Ellington, 49, of Bryant, Ark., departed to her heavenly home on April 21, 2020. She was born September 23, 1970 in Little Rock to Faye and the late Jesse Simmons, Jr. She is preceded in death by siblings: Gwendolyn and Jesse Simmons III. She was a 1989 graduate of Central High School, received a BA from Arkansas Baptist College and a master's degree in Business Management from Strayer University. She retired in 2019 with almost 30 years employment with the State of Arkansas. Abby was a faithful member of Longley Baptist Church and an avid bicycle club cyclist. She always wore a radiant smile and lived her life filled with gratitude, courage and conviction. Her last days were filled with ministry for others as she demonstrated her love for Jesus Christ. Precious memories are left to her loving husband of 23 years, Richard Ellington; three beautiful daughters: Arabryana Guy, Rischalle (Seth) Wise and Rischaye Ellington. Precious mother, Faye Simmons; Special Uncle/Dad, Pastor Billy (Girtrude) Simmons; Special Aunt/Mom, Jeannette (Phillip) Stafford; Sister, Myssie Greene of Atlanta, GA, and devoted brother, Diamonnic Simmons.
