Zina Joan Jackson-Maxwell, 55, of (Pankey Addition) Little Rock, transitioned on April 22nd. Zina graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School and was member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Pankey. She was a licensed cosmologist and a bus driver for the Altheimer/ Dollarway School District, Pulaski County Special School District and a transporter for Union Pacific Railroad. Her joy was being a wife, mother and transporting her students to and from school and after school events. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Everett "Ed" Lee Maxwell; son, Sydney Maxwell; father, Curtis Jackson of Chicago, Ill.; brothers, Kirkland and Cory Jackson of Altheimer, and Carl (Juwanna) Jackson of Pine Bluff; sisters, Carrie (Terry) Dantzler of Pine Bluff, Shamieka Jenkins, Kemba and Destiny Jackson all of Chicago, Ill.; uncle, Vollie (Rita Walton) Wells of Little Rock and host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Visitation: 11 a.m.-12 noon, May 1st, Watson Northcrest Funeral Home Chapel, 1601 Cypress St., North Little Rock, (501) 812-5303. Interment: 1 p.m., State Veterans Cemetery.
