Melissa Russell

Melissa Russell of Little Rock, Ark., passed away August 3, 2020 at the age of 63. Born in Hot Springs, Ark., to Calvin Johnson and Phyllis Hancock, she is survived by her beloved daughter and best friend Alexandra Briggeman, 29, and her granddaughter, Eliza Kate Depriest, 9. She was loved by many as she is remembered as being a kind soul and she is missed by all who were blessed to know her. Her daughter, whom everyone knows as Ally, always said "I'm a package deal. Where I come, my mom is coming too. That's all there is to it." She will be cremated as were her wishes, but due to Covid-19 the cremation process is very backed up, so if there is a service it will be a very small goodbye ceremony per Ally, once she is able to get her mother's ashes and put her to rest.
