James Edward "Jimmy" Sandusky, Jr. of Bigelow returned to his heavenly home on August 5, 2020, in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 75. Jimmy is survived by niece, Stacey M. Benegar (Ted); brother-in-law, Norman Ansbach; and sister, Joanne Mack. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn L. Sandusky; parents, James E. Sandusky, Sr., and Minnice M. Sandusky; sisters-in-law, Joyce Johnson and Janice R. Ansbach; and nephew, James L. Bushart, Jr. Jimmy was a successful and a respected business man known for his honesty and loyalty. He was an accomplished knife maker and made many cherished knives for friends and family. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and canoe and was an adventurer and loved to travel. He was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation. A visitation memorial service is scheduled from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, August 22, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 501 N. Shackleford, Little Rock, Ark., 72211. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time.
