Rosie Lee Muldrew

Rosie Lee Matlock Muldrew, age 59, of Sherwood, was born March 15, 1961, to Floyd Matlock Sr. and Velma Lee Alfonzo Matlock. Rosie departed her earthly life on Friday, August 14, 2020. Rosie is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Matlock Sr.; mother, Velma Lee Alfonzo Matlock; sisters, Virta Lee Newton, Easter Matlock, Minnie Johnson, Betty Matlock, and Bernice Taylor; brothers, Harold Matlock, Leroy Matlock, Earnest Lee Matlock, Willie Lee Matlock, and Lee James Matlock. Rosie leaves to mourn her passing: daughter, Candice Randall of Sherwood; caregiver and lifelong friend Gerald Liggins of Sherwood; her sisters, Gloria Davis, Dorothy Matlock both of Stamps, Ark.; brother, Floyd Matlock Jr. of Boyd Hill, Ark.; special nephews Virgil Curry of Huntsville, Ala., and Curtis (April) Curry of Sherwood and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, close relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19, there will be limited seating for the memorial service on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Visitation for family and friends to share expressions of Rosie's legacy will be held Friday, August 21, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark., 72117, Phone 501-835-3515. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honors Team. Interment will take place on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 9 a.m., at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave. in Sherwood.
